Welcome to my world

Welcome to my world folks. This will be a place I will post up coming screening events,  rumors and longings for future events, and other related topics.

Currently I am working on one last film for my short film program, Recycled Visions. The film is called Erasable Cities, and includes text and is inspired by the novel Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino.

My animator friends, and myself (Seattle Experimental Animation Team- SEAT) are planning a series of kite/ film screening installations around the city starting in June. More info to come.

My film How to Draw Clouds will be on tour in Europe and a few spots in the US this summer, part of the festival Cut & Run. No dates yet, but I'll give more details as they come. And my film Somewhere will also be on tour along with other SEAT animators in a program called Inter-Actions. The premiere will be at Northwest Film Forum June 16th. This tour is also headed to Europe in the fall.

And I recently had two west coast screenings last week. My film The Swimmer had its premiere at Seattle International Film Festival on May 26th, part of their experimental programing- ALT Shorts. It was a very good program and the audience was enthusiastic. Then on the 28th my film Celluloid Heroes Never Really Die screened at Other Cinema in San Francisco, part of Craig Baldwin's biannual new experimental works programing. I only wish I could of been there as well.
